That’s why each year, local associations across the state team up to give back in collaboration with the NAR REALTOR® Volunteer Days on June 1-9, 2004. Here is a look at the unique and caring ways Tennessee REALTORS® are getting active in their communities and the goodness they’re spreading to show they care.

Northeast Tennessee Association of REALTORS®

On June 4th and 5th, the Northeast Tennessee Association of REALTORS® is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity to support its mission to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS®

Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS® is hosting a blood drive at the REALTOR® Event Center located at 311 Butler Drive in Murfreesboro. Anyone interested in giving blood can donate on Friday, June 7th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. All donors will receive a free Red Cross T-shirt and will be entered for the chance to win an all-expense paid trip for two to New York.

East Tennessee REALTORS®

East Tennessee REALTORS® are also teaming up with Habitat for Humanity on June 5-6th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM to give back to the Knoxville area. During these two workdays, volunteers will help with sorting, cleaning, and organizing items at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore as well as organizing and cleaning the construction warehouse area. Clarksville REALTORS®

Clarksville REALTORS® are teaming up with Bella’s Closet on June 5th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM to give back to the Montgomery County area women. Bella’s is a community closet for women needing clean, well-maintained clothing for everyday life up to interviews and workforce entrance. Their mission is to empower women for success by serving and mentoring them to provide a positive impact and experience in the community.

Greater Chattanooga REALTORS®

Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® is hosting a food drive to support their local Food Bank, They’re inviting EVERYONE to donate! Donations can be brought to the GCR office (2963 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37406) Monday-Friday, June 3-10 between 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

In addition to the food drive, GCAR is volunteering at The Hill City Educational Pollinator Garden by hosting a community planting event! They are encouraging members to come out and help plant a truckload of new plants into the ground.

Greater Chattanooga REALTORS®

On June 8th from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM Sumner REALTORS® will be volunteering at the Sumner VFW Post 9851 to assist in coordinating food pantry distributions, helping patrons as needed, loading vehicles, returning cards, restocking shelves, and more!

Additionally, Sumner REALTORS® is coordinating a park cleanup effort on June 8th to help make the Sumner County area a great place to live.
