Sher Powers is First Vice President for Tennessee REALTORS®, a key part of the association’s 11-member Executive Committee.
She has served the real estate industry in multiple roles on the local, state and national levels. For Greater Nashville, she has served as President (2018), President-Elect, Secretary Treasurer, Vice President, Director (2014-2017), and member of the Executive, Housing Opportunities, RPAC/Legislative and Membership committees. At the state level, she has served as Vice Chair of the Diversity Inclusion Committee (2018), and member of the Governmental Affairs Committee and Nominating & Election Task Force. Nationally, she has served on the NAR Housing Opportunities Committee, RPAC Fundraising Trustees, as a Region 4 Representative, and as part of the Consumer Communications Committee, among other roles.
In addition, Powers has served as a guest speaker, instructor, panelist and moderator at numerous real estate events.

As a First Vice President, Sher is available to update Local Associations and other audiences on timely real estate topics from a statewide perspective, provide information about member services and benefits and listen to any insights or ideas that could be shared at the state level.
