Amy Cannon is the Owner and Broker of Cannontown Real Estate. An East Tennessee native, she graduated from UT Knoxville in 1991 and moved to Nashville. She began her real estate career in 1995 and became a Broker in 2011.
As a member of both Greater Nashville Realtors and Williamson County Association of Realtors, Amy has served in leadership roles which include the Board of Directors (GNR), Grievance, Professional Standards, Arbitration, Education, Professional Development and Awards of Excellence committees, Brokers Advisory Council, MLS Advisory Council, and as an Ombudsman.
Greater Nashville Realtors named Amy as Realtor of the Year in 2017.
Her state level involvement includes Leadership TAR, and serving in the Chairperson role on the Forms, Convention and Grievance committees. Her most recent roles was President of TREEF (Tennessee Real Estate Education Foundation), after serving as a TREEF Trustee for four years.
She is a consistent RPAC Major Investor.
Amy loves to bring Realtors together with the objective of forming positive relationships throughout the industry. She formed The Breakfast Club in 2010 that consists of Realtors from 17 different firms who meet monthly discussing how to effectively work with clients in an ever-changing market. She plans annual weekend retreats, movie nights, and other outings for female Realtors to get to know each other in a fun and relaxing environment with the desire of building long-lasting connections between them.
Amy has a dry sense of humor which most learn about very quickly. She enjoys performing stand-up comedy, hiking local trails, and hosting friends at her home.
Amy is wife to Preston, mom to Harper and Davis, and considers herself the best dog mom ever to Hudson, Truman & Piper.

As a 2024 Division 2 Vice President, Amy is available to update Local Associations and other audiences on timely real estate topics from a statewide perspective, provide information about member services and benefits, and listen to any insights or ideas that could be shared at the state level.
