Tennessee experienced inclement weather last Wednesday, May 8, resulting in severe flooding and tornado damage across several counties in the state. Funds will be made available to the public to assist with disaster victims’ housing payments as relief and recovery efforts continue. We’re diligently working on getting the RRF application ready and up on our website soon.
Those impacted by the storms from the following may apply for assistance through the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) once the application is open: Cheatham, Giles, Lincoln, Maury, Rutherford, Smith, Warren, Wilson. REALTOR® membership is NOT required to apply.
RRF was established shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks to aid those who were impacted. Since then, RRF has disbursed more than $38 million in aid to more than 19,000 families in 42 states and territories. The Foundation provides housing-related assistance to disaster impacted communities through the generous donations from REALTORS®, state and local associations, and industry partners. Every dollar donated goes directly towards disaster victims. Administrative expenses are covered completely by NAR.
