The REALTORS® Relief Foundation is now accepting applications from Tennesseans who experienced damage from the tornado that tore through Tennessee on May 8, 2024. This weather event devastated communities across 15 counties throughout Middle Tennessee. Funds will be made available to the public to assist with disaster victims’ housing payments as relief and recovery efforts continue. The impacted counties include Montgomery, Hamilton, Cheatham, Giles, Lincoln, Maury, Cannon, Rutherford, Warren, Wilson, Macon, Sumner, Polk, Jackson, and Smith counties.

Applicants do NOT need to be REALTOR® members—the RRF assistance is available to all impacted victims. Types of Assistance:
Assistance is available to qualified applicants towards one of the following options:  1) Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged by the Tornado Disaster  or; 2) Rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Tornado Disaster or; 3) Hotel reimbursement due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Tornado Disaster.  Relief assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household.  The deadline for applications was September 13, 2024.  Please note this assistance is for housing relief only; other expenses including second mortgages (home equity lines or loans), clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicle purchase, rental or repair and or mileage are ineligible for reimbursement under this program.
