Convention Advisory Committee

Composition

The Convention Advisory Committee shall be comprised of twelve members serving two-year staggered terms plus a Chair and Vice Chair who
serve a one-year term, and an Executive Committee Liaison member.

Purpose:

To select the sites for future conventions, at least three years in advance, and recommend to the Executive Committee and Directors for approval; to plan and conduct the Tennessee REALTORS® Annual Convention and to promote attendance.

General Meeting Information:

This committee meets during the Spring Conference and at the Tennessee REALTORS® Office throughout the year. Generally there are between 4-5 meetings per year that can last between 3 - 6 hours each. Committee meetings are open to the Tennessee REALTORS® membership .If interested in serving, it is advised that you attend a meeting as a guest prior to the year that you would like to serve.

Requirements:

A vacancy is automatically created when a committee member misses two consecutive, duly called, meetings. Excused absences only include absence due to death in the family or personal illness.
