Single-family home closings in Tennessee reached 10,864 in August, a slight rise of +1.8% from the same month a year ago, according to data compiled by Tennessee REALTORS® via NAR’s REALTORS® Property Resource (RPR).
Sales volume for August landed at $3.4 billion, an increase of +15.6% over August 2019.
The median price was $264,000, up +12.3%.
Active listings were 37,382, down -22.1%, so inventory remains tight as prices continue to trend upward.
