Single-family home closings in Tennessee climbed to 11,964 in July 2020, a +11.5% increase over the same month in 2019, according to data compiled by Tennessee REALTORS® via REALTORS® Property Resource (RPR).
Among other results:
single-family closed sales volume rose even more markedly, +24.8% to $3.73B;
median sale price jumped +11.1% to $261,025;
and median sale price per square foot increased +7.2% to $134.
Meanwhile, inventory remained tight: active listings were down –18.2% to 38,579, and new listings declined -2.4% to 13,444.
